E3 2017’s press conferences are mostly over and we’re in agreement that this isn’t the best showing that we’ve seen in recent years.  So far we’ve seen an abundance of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.  In fact, it’s turning into the story of the show with yet another version of the game popping up in Sony’s E3 Press Conference despite launching all the way back in 2011.

Today Kyle and I talk about the second day of big press conferences with Sony and Ubisoft set to dominate the conversation on Monday.  Ubisoft had a couple of surprises up their sleeve with a Mario/Rabbids mash-up, the reveal of Beyond Good and Evil 2, and Skull and Bones as a brand new pirate game.

Sony on the other hand didn’t reveal many things that weren’t already known quantities with the a remake of Shadow of the Colossus, a multiplatform Monster Hunter game, and of course, more Skyrim with the RPG coming to PSVR.  At the end of the day we saw a bunch of trailers at Sony’s show and we’re both in agreement that it was their weakest showing in recent years.

With Nintendo still to go, E3 2017 is anyone’s race to win.  Join us as we wrap up all the press conferences in our day something podcast below.
