That’s a good thing, of course, but some players are having trouble figuring out some things about the map. More specifically, many new players have been wondering what the gold and yellow lines are on the map near the Sites of Grace.

What Do the Gold Lines Mean Near a Site of Grace?

The gold lines on the map in Elden Ring point toward your next objective. They’re called the Guidance of Grace in the lore, and they guide the Tarnished on their journey. If you ever find yourself stuck, just follow those lines and you’ll be back on track in no time.

It’s not just limited to the map, either. When you rest at a Site of Grace, some of them will emanate a sort of golden trail of dust through the sky. Not all of them do that, only those that indicate a certain landmark in the game that leads into a possible quest or dungeon ahead will have them. The game doesn’t hold your hand too much in outright giving you some sort of quest log or something in the UI to show you your next destination.

The tradeoff here is that there’s a sense of exploration you should fulfill for tidbits of lore, new wares to collect, and bosses to conquer. These gold lines serve as a bare minimum of leading you in the direction you should go. The choice is yours. You’re not locked out from progressing any further if you don’t follow the lines either.

Admittedly, it can get confusing if you’re traveling east towards Caelid and start seeing the Sites of Grace show the lines too. The correct way to through the main story of the game is to make your way north from Limgrave, through Stormveil, then the Raya Lucaria Academy, and so forth.

Even when you complete an entire area, those lines will still appear. The only way to really keep track is to use the map’s marker options to indicate if you have cleared an entire area of its boss and one-time pickups.

What is helping to bridge the gap between consoles and quelling this ongoing argument is crossplay. While this topic has been in talks as far back as the seventh console generation (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii), it’s even more relevant than ever, thanks to the big Fortnite and PlayStation crossplay debacle in 2018. Other games such as XDefiant will also likely prove to be heavy competition for The Finals.

How to Earn Skill Points Quickly in Diablo 4

Since we are in the beta period, you can only get to level 25 right now. However, you still want to get to the max level quickly to mess around and theory craft builds. 

Play on Hard Mode

The first way to get skill points quicker is to play the game on harder difficulties. With higher difficulty comes more reward. Of course, there also comes more risk. For seasoned Diablo players, they’ll be killing hordes of enemies and reaping rewards nonstop until the cap hits.

Attention New Players: Progress Slowly

As for newer players, you should play at a difficulty you’re comfortable with and slowly raise up your world tier. If that seems too scary or stressful, there are other solutions.

Be an Explorer

You’re rewarded for venturing off the beaten path, checking every nook and cranny. With any enemy you can find, an item you can pick up, and side objectives to snag, that all will add up in the long run. Completionists will be doing this regardless, so they’re reaping the rewards ahead of time.

Consider Co-Op With a Friend

Other than that, you can also play the game cooperatively. In doing so, you’re going to be sharing XP with your teammates in combat. This can be extremely helpful in tackling the harder difficulties in the game. In many instances from past Diablo games, it was a means of “power leveling”.

With power leveling, you’re essentially going to be “carried” by someone who is of a higher level. They’ll do a lot of the killing as you can mostly explore and deal with stragglers. In the process, your level should go up rather quickly.

How to Farm Cryptographic ALU in Warframe

This is a time-limited resource available in all Corpus-occupied archwing missions. It’s also obtainable in railjack missions. The planets you can visit to get this resource are Venus, Phobos, Jupiter, and Neptune. In terms of railjack, you can find them occupying Venus, Neptune, Pluto, and parts of the Veil Proximas. 

Now, if you want to maximize how many units of Cryptographic ALU you get in a short time, head over to Salacia in Neptune. This is a mobile defense mission where you have three points to defend.

The reason why this mission is good for farming, in particular, is that it’s oftentimes occupied by many random players. More players mean that more enemies will spawn. Salacia already has a lot of enemies spawning when playing the objective, so there means more chances of resources dropping.

Of those resources, the Cryptographic ALU can drop. It’s best to use the Itzal Archwing. Use the Cosmic Crush ability often, as it also acts like a vacuum to obtain all nearby resource drops. With the number of enemies killed, it’s hard to collect everything without it.

What is unfortunate is that Cryptographic ALU won’t pop up on your screen like other rare resources like Tellurium. You have to see if you collected it at the bottom of your screen. You can also check your mission progress to see how much you have collected so far in your mission.

Luckily, these missions take somewhere around 8 to 11 minutes. You should also collect at least 10 units of this item per run, which is enough to craft 2 Razorback Ciphers. With all that collected, just farm up Polymer Bundle and Gallium and you’re set on playing the event mission.

Which Diablo 4 Edition Should You Get?

This question is really dependent on how much you see yourself invested in the long run of Diablo 4. If you’re going to play this casually, you might want to get the Standard Edition and call it a day. It’ll give you some goodies for other games if you play them and early access to the March 17 weekend beta.

If you’re someone who is a bit more hardcore and you want the full experience of the game upfront, the Deluxe Edition will be more up your alley. It contains everything the Standard Edition does, but with early access, mount items, and the battle pass. 

Now with the Ultimate Edition, you will have access to everything plus that emote and 20 tier skips to the battle pass. This is the most definitive edition of the game at launch, but you’re essentially paying 10 more USD just to get ahead of everyone else. 

So the bottom line is, you should get the Standard Edition if you tend to play this game every now and then. If you’re a hardcore Diablo fan and you’re going to sink dozens to over a hundred hours in the first few weeks, get the Deluxe Edition. The Ultimate Edition does seem enticing, but you’re paying just to grind less.

Best Larkspur Prime Build in Warframe

This weapon’s build will be broken down into two categories. Since it has slightly different stats for on-ground use and for vehicular combat, the ammo economy will also be affected. 

Archwing guns (or archguns) reload like normal guns when used as heavy weapons. When used on a Necramech or in Archwing modes, they recharge. This will make the builds slightly different.

Larkspur Heavy Weapon Build

Once you have installed an Orokin Catalyst and a Gravimag onto your Larkspur Prime, attach the following mods:

The Ammo Chain mod is put in the mix as heavy ammo is hard to come by. You want to have as much up-time as possible with your gun. If you have a Carrier, Carrier Prime, or are wielding this with Hildryn or her Prime variant, you will gain additional max ammo for the gun. 

With high DPS, status effects, and a manageable ammo economy, you can clear rooms easily. You’re also primarily going to fire this gun with the standard-held trigger mechanic.

Larkspur Heavy Weapon Crit Build

Since this gun has a slightly higher critical chance than its normal counterpart, there are builds that make this gun viable with it. This means that you will utilize the alt-fire more often. Here’s what we have:

As a vehicular weapon, you can use this one general build to cover all content whether on the Steel Path, in Railjack missions, or even when using your Necramech.

If you want to skip the grind for Hildryn Prime, you can buy her components from other players via the trade chat. Just know that since she is new, each part of the Warframe is going to be expensive. There will also be an extremely high demand for her as she is one of the more popular frames to get the primed treatment.

If you need Platinum, it’s best to buy some from your respective platform’s store or by trading with other players. You should also know that if you do lowball players who offer her parts at a high premium, they might ignore you or outright block you. Players in Warframe tend to sell high and buy low.

Finally, if you want to skip the hassle of buying her in the trade chat, you can also buy her Prime Access. This will come with Hildryn Prime, Larkspur Prime, and the Shade Prime Sentinel. It’ll also be more expensive, just as a heads-up.

How to Skip Cutscenes in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2

In the Campaign

When playing solo and you want to skip the cutscenes, you can simply do so by pressing Circle on PlayStation or B on Xbox. Whatever your back button is on your platform, just press and hold it to skip the cutscene.

In Multiplayer

You can’t skip these cutscenes as they are played out in real time with the game’s engine. You will have to see the parts where you roll up in a helicopter or in a vehicle with your squad every time.

In Spec Ops and Raids

Similar to Campaign, you have to also press and hold the back button. However, if it is your first time playing a mission, you have to watch it. It does not matter if you are playing this with randoms or with friends in a squad. After the first time watching the cutscene, you do not have to sit through a cutscene all over again.

In Warzone and DMZ

To skip cutscenes, you can only do this on PC. If you are on PlayStation or Xbox, you’re out of luck. 

• In the Warzone menus, head on over to your Settings. 
• This is the cog on the top right of your screen. 
• From here, go to the Interface option. 
• Next, scroll all the way down in the Interface options until you get to the “Advanced Interface Settings”.
• Find the “Skip Introduction Movie” option and switch it to Off. 

Unfortunately for console players, there are far less advanced interface settings, meaning you won’t see things like network and hardware in-game alert icons, the skip intro movie, and a few other selections. You’re locked in to see the same thing every time.

Best Faith Weapons in Elden Ring

The following are weapons that you should definitely incorporate into your build if you plan on using Faith as your main stat in the game.

Coded Sword

The Coded Sword, unfortunately, is a bit of a late-game weapon. It can prove to be very powerful for clearing most of the game on subsequent playthroughs or if you still have not explored the whole map. It deals primarily Holy damage, but it scales exclusively off Faith. This is a good all-rounder melee weapon to use if your other weapons of choice consist of Sacred Seals.

The Coded Sword is located in the Fortified Manor area of Leyndell. You can miss this weapon if you defeat Maliketh before going to this location.

Sword of Night and Flame

If you run other stats like Intelligence and Dexterity in your build, this weapon can work very well with multiple stats scaling. Especially after this sword was buffed quite a bit, it can deal a bunch of damage. Thanks to its dual stats and unique skill, it’s a good melee option if you’re running low on MP.

The Sword of Night and Flame can be obtained in the Caria Manor.

Erdtree Seal

This is a faith-only Sacred Seal that’s a basic all-rounder. It doesn’t have any sort of bonuses for certain incantations like other seals, but it can still work wonders. What it can do is outshine many other Finger Seals for having the best scaling with the Faith stat.

The Erdtree Seal can be obtained near the Prison Town Church Site of Grace at Volcano Manor.

Finger Seal

Since it’ll take you some time to get the Erdtree Seal, the Finger Seal can do quite well in a large majority of Elden Ring. It doesn’t have anything special in particular but does have Strength as a secondary stat. If you rock a heavy weapon that also utilizes faith, you have your close-ranged options covered.

The Finger Seal is a starting weapon for the Prophet and Confessor classes. You can also obtain it from the Twin Maiden Husks at a later time.

Dragon Communion Seal

Dragon Incantations are some of the strongest ones to use in the game. They’re also some of the coolest ones to use (subjectively). If you want a boost to those types of incantations, then you should get this Sacred Seal.

The Dragon Communion Seal can be obtained at the Fringefolk Hero’s Grave.

Blasphemous Blade

Rykard’s sword works perfectly for a Faith build. Not only does the weapon scale with the stat, but the fire damage from the Taker’s Flames ability scales with it. The weapon also has innate life steal, making you, the wielder, harder to kill. It’s a must-have.

The Blasphemous Blade can be obtained after defeating Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy at the Volcano Manor. You then take his Remembrance and give it to Enia to receive the weapon.

Nagakiba

The Nagakiba is a powerful katana that is probably one of the most versatile weapons in the game. Since it isn’t a unique weapon, you can use an Ash of War to change it into a Sacred Nagakiba. What you then have there is a sword that scales with Faith as its primary stat. It also has innate blood loss buildup, making it very strong in nearly all cases.

The Nagakiba can be obtained by killing Bloody Finger Yura at Murkwater Cave or by completing his quest line. 

Staff of the Guilty

If you’re running a sorcerer build in Elden Ring, but want to spec into Faith, this is just the weapon for you. With this, you can utilize spells and incantations, making you the ultimate summoner. Just know that this will require a lot of MP as you will dip into the same bar to cast your abilities.

The Staff of the Guilty can be obtained by defeating Thorn Sorcerers with the fiery staffs. 

Maliketh’s Black Blade

An alternative to the Blasphemous Blade is Maliketh’s sword. It’s a bit heavier to wield than it, but it also scales with the Faith stat. With its recent buffs to faster casting time for its ability, this only makes the weapon much more viable.

Maliketh’s Black Blade can be obtained by defeating him in the Crumbling Farum Azula. Then, take his remembrance item and give it to Enia for the weapon.

Golden Order Greatsword

This spot would have been given to the Sacred Relic Sword, but what this weapon has over the best farming weapon in the game is that it has stats that scale better with Faith. Not to mention, it can be used as a substitute for the Blasphemous Blade.

The Golden Order Greatsword can be obtained by defeating the Misbegotten Crusador at the Cave of the Forlorn.

How to Fix Modern Warfare 2 Freezing on PlayStation Consoles

While there is no exact place to pinpoint why the crashing or freezing is happening, it is recommended to lower the graphical settings that make processing more demanding. Such options include to look out for are the following:

• Depth of Field
• FidelityFX CAS
• FidelityFX CAS Strength
• Film Grain
• On Demand texture streaming
• Weapon Motion Blur
• World Motion Blur

Infinity Ward has gone on social media to communicate to players that crashes are more likely to occur when in a party. On top of the classic wrestlers and skins in the Ruthless Aggression Pack, you will gain access to the Wrestlemania 22 arena and the John Cena Legacy Championship. Basically, you will get an additional playable arena and access to the 20th-anniversary event where only 500 belts were made for the occasion.

Is the Ruthless Aggression Pack Worth It?

If you are a hardcore wrestling fan and loved the sport back in the early 2000s back when WWE was WWF, you should definitely get this pack. It’s included if you buy it separately for 20.00 USD or if you buy the Icon Edition of 2K23. 

If you like what’s already included in the game and you’re fine without the classics, then you can skip it. This is more to appeal to the older audiences of the game who grew up with certain wrestlers at their prime or before major career changes.

How Can You Get More Warframe Codes?

Right now, if you are experiencing some kind of connection timeout error when logging in, you can try some of these methods.

If any of the solutions or fixes did not work, all you can really do is be patient. Since these are all on their end, there isn’t much you can do.

What you can do in the meantime is check your internet connection and firewall settings that best suit the atmosphere for Star Citizen. This includes things like making sure your wifi or wired connection is stable and running some speed tests. Of course, you can top that off by making sure your client is at the latest update.

Why is the Bomb Drone Being Removed in Warzone 2?

Raven Software hasn’t explicitly said why, but it’s pretty obvious that this killstreak is being removed for being a bit too overpowered in the current meta. By using a Bomb Drone, you can easily score a kill on someone who is hiding inside a building. 

Many see this as being really cheap, ruining win streaks and the overall flow of the game. There’s very little counterplay to this. At least with other score and kill streaks, you can play around them. You can hide inside structures while an airstrike is coming out, or play safe when someone pops a UAV.

All the balance team said in regard to the removal of the Bomb Drone is that they will “explore additional balance options for this killstreak.”

When Will the Bomb Drone Be Removed and When Will it Come Back?

The Bomb Drone is expected to be removed on March 15, 2023, when Season 2 Reloaded comes out. As for when we can expect it to return is unknown at the time. The killstreak is in such a weird place right now because it has the killing power of a C4, but has too much utility compared to other items. 

This killstreak makes grenades seem useless. Besides, a lot of the community who plays Warzone wants this removed entirely. Many took to Twitter to voice their excitement that this is being removed. As soon as we know more about the fate of the Bomb Drone, we’ll be sure to tell you.

How to Get the CALUS Mini Tool in Destiny 2 Lightfall

With the Season of the Haunted being over for quite some time now, it seems that this heavily sought weapon can be found as a world drop. Because it’s now part of a standard loot pool, you will have to keep your eyes peeled when visiting Banshee-44 at the Tower and when opening up Engrams.

With how much you have to sift through and through all the RNG, it may take a while to get one. Before, you could have simply opened up Opulent chests and eventually got one with there. Now, there’s a bit more of an uncertain grind.

The reason why you might want to have this weapon on hand is because of its ability to make you move faster. If you pair this with the MIDA Multi-Tool, you’ll receive an even greater speed boost, making you harder to kill. 

The CALUS is also very strong in terms of mobbing if you get the Incandescent and Unrelenting trait combo. For every kill, you trigger the Unrelenting ability which instantly starts your health regen. Pair that with the Incandescent— especially with a Solar build— and what you have is a mob-clearing SMG that renders you nearly invincible. 

So, if you missed out on Season 17’s items, you’re not completely out of luck. You’re just going to have less of it. It’s actually worth it to get this item as it can carry you in the PvE and PvP modes of Destiny 2.

How to Get the Nuke Apparition Skin in MW2

Standard Nuke Method

The legitimate way to get the Apparition skin is to obtain a nuke in Warzone. It’s a lot harder than it sounds since there are multiple steps to obtain one. You have to win five games in a row and then take on that Champion’s Quest contract, which only puts a larger bounty on your head.

Follow the steps from that contract and in no time, you have obtained yourself a nuke. Should anything mess up on the way there, you will have to redo the entire thing again. Of course, once you land a nuke, you will get the Apparition skin which should be worn as a badge of honor for pulling that off.

There have been discussions about there being a glitch in which you can get the said “Nuke Skin” in the game without doing all the hard work. People have reported that they got it, so this is all we know regarding it.

Is the Nuke Skin Glitch Still Possible?

It doesn’t seem like the notorious “glitch” for getting this skin is viable. You may have come across dozens of YouTube and Tik Tok videos regarding the Apparition skin and how you can glitch your way into getting it. That isn’t the case — don’t fall for it.

A lot of these videos discuss some kind of glitch with the Revive Pistol or the Shock Stick. They will briefly mention bot lobbies and paying for some kind of service regarding getting the Nuke skin via glitching. Do not fall for it, once again. If you are being told to pay for something in a game with exploits, do not buy into it.

What is the Release Date for Exoprimal?

Exoprimal is going to be released on July 14, 2023. That is a few months away from now, but after we saw more gameplay regarding this title, you can make your own opinions if it interests you.

Further, the game will have an Open Beta coming out later in the middle of March. Here, you can test out the core functions of the game along with playing around with a handful of the Exosuits you see in the trailers.

What Platforms is Exoprimal Coming Out On?

Exoprimal will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Good news for players on all the systems: the game will also support cross-platform play! Despite what platform you’re on, you can play Exoprimal with anyone.

Will Exoprimal Be Free-to-Play?

The game will not be free-to-play. Instead, people who own Xbox Game Pass will be able to play the game on Day One. Apart from the beta, you can play this game at no additional cost with Microsoft’s subscription service.

Unless you’re someone on PC who doesn’t own Game Pass or if you’re a PlayStation player, you will have to buy the game at full retail price when it releases on July 14. Pre-orders should be available shortly.

How to Join the Exoprimal Open Beta Test

Since this is an open beta, you will be able to join it without signing up to get a chance of getting in. You will simply be able to join it once it goes live for your respective platform’s store.

The beta will be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series consoles, PlayStation 4 and 5, and PC via Steam and Windows. You will need a Capcom ID linked to the account you’re planning on playing the game with. 

How Long is the Exoprimal Open Beta Test?

The open beta will run from Thursday, March 16 at 5 PM PDT to Sunday, March 19 at 4:59 PM PDT. Convert times as you see necessary.  During this three-day period, you can check out a handful of Exosuits and Rigs that will be playable when the full game releases later this year.

Since the beta is only up for a few days, you will only be able to participate in the tutorial modes, training, and the “Dino Survival” mode. 

Will Progress Transfer from the Open Beta to the Full Release?

If you are looking to make some progress ahead of the game’s release, that won’t be possible. Instead, you will earn the Aibius Medal charm that you can put onto your character in the full release of the game.

To earn that, you will need to answer a survey at the end or during the beta test. Once you complete it, you’ll be given a code for your platform of choice once we get closer to the full release. This item might be available at a later time without having to participate.

How to Get Shredder in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2

The crossover operator will be available as a part of the Season 2 Reloaded update. Unfortunately, that update is not here, nor will he drop exactly when the update comes. Shredder will be made available on March 21 on all platforms.

To get him, he’ll be part of the Tracer Pack Operator Bundle. How much this bundle will cost will be determined, but it will be available to purchase with CoD Points. You’ll receive him and “unlock his ninjutsu powers”, most likely meaning that he’ll have his own quips and finishing animations.

As you’re going through the season’s Battle Pass, you can obtain CoD Points via the free and paid routes. This can help alleviate some costs if you also have your eyes set on other Operator skin bundles that come out with this update. 

Since Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 are in the same game, you also do not have to buy this Operator twice. Once acquired on either mode of the game, Shredder will be available to use in anything regarding the game— even Spec Ops and DMZ.

The Operator along with his bundle will be available even after Season 2 ends. He’s not going anywhere. These types of bundles aren’t time-sensitive, so if you need additional CoD points from future Battle Pass earnings, you can do just that. 

With Season 2 Reloaded on the horizon, now is a good time to hone your skills or hop back onto the game to check out all sorts of new unlockables and new maps to come.

Is PS4 Getting Discord? How to Get Discord on PS4

The short answer to this is that PS4 users sadly will not get Discord. As we’re slowly shifting away from the last console generation, support for the system will eventually just come down to bug fixes and security updates.

So, the only way you can talk to people on Discord while gaming on a PS4 console is if you have a PC or a smartphone on you and talk to someone on those devices. The only problem is that with that setup, you will have to sacrifice your setup to hear the chat audio and your game’s audio.

There are workarounds to physically integrating the PC or phone app to your console with a mix-amp, but that would require additional peripherals.

Luckily, with many cross-play supported games, they still provide ways for you to chat with other players in-game. The only limitations there are that the audio quality differs and you can’t necessarily isolate your audio from other randoms in matchmade parties.

This is starting to become a point within the current and last console generation where it might be time to move on. Luckily, a lot of PS4 hardware and software still works on the PS5, so not much will be left behind. You have workaround methods if you aren’t ready to make the upgrade or you’re on a budget.

In any case, you have options. Newer hardware does make it easier if you were waiting for features like this to come to your last gen system. That doesn’t mean you’re fully left in the dark.

How to Use Discord on PS5 Without PC

What you will need is a smartphone and a PS5, both with a stable internet connection. Make sure that your PlayStation 5 and Discord on your phone are fully up to date. Next, head on over to your settings on your PS5 and link your Discord account. To do this, follow these steps:

• On the PS5 dashboard, click the cog icon on the top right (Settings).
• Click on Users and Accounts
• Select Linked Services
• Pick Discord and follow the on-screen steps
• After using the QR code or manually linking your account on Discord, the setup is complete.

Now, to join a Discord voice chat without using a PC, make sure to start up Discord on your phone.

Follow these steps to join a Discord call while using your PS5:

• Before joining a chat channel or a call, you will be given the option to join the voice chat normally or with the new “Join on PlayStation” option. 
• Upon clicking the “Join on PlayStation” option, you will then be put into a party with people on their Discord accounts.

You should now be on a call with other people using Discord. If they also have their accounts linked to Sony account services, you will see their Discord name and PSN name in your party chat.

Know that you must keep your phone connected to the Discord app. Otherwise, you will leave the party. This can drain some battery the longer you’re in, but at least you don’t have to buy third-party hardware or make compromises while voice chatting. 

Will Starfield Be on the PS5?

Unfortunately, people who are on Sony’s current-generation console will not be able to experience the game. If gamers do want to play Starfield, they will have to play the game on a PC or on an Xbox Series X or S console.

Because Bethesda is now under Microsoft, expect a lot of larger titles in their upcoming catalog to be PC or Xbox-exclusive. This doesn’t mean that all games will be exclusive to those platforms.

Is Starfield a Timed Exclusive?

To add even more salt to the wound, Starfield is also not a timed exclusive. It has been made clear by Microsoft and Bethesda that this game will be exclusive only to the Series consoles and PC. 

If you are a PlayStation owner hoping the game would eventually come out on your console, that won’t be the case. Yes, other PlayStation titles like Ghostwire: Tokyo and Deathloop which were once exclusive eventually came out on its competitor console. However, don’t expect it to happen the other way as Microsoft and Bethesda have set the exclusivity deal in stone.

When Does Starfield Come Out?

After all the delays surrounding the game, Starfield will now come out on September 6, 2023, for Xbox Series X and S consoles and PC. It will also be available on Game Pass for no additional cost on day one.

The game will not come to Xbox One consoles either, given that this game will exceed the performing capacity of the last-gen system. 

Best Weapons in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty

The best weapons will be broken down into what class they fall under.  This list does not also mean that lower-ranking ones are no good. In fact, all the weapon types in Wo Long are quite good in their own way and viable even in New Game Plus.

With the fast nature of the weapon paired with multi-hitting moves, you can stun-lock a good number of human enemies in the game.

What makes these weapon categories even stronger is that if they have the “Sudden Tornado” ability on them, they can do some serious damage. This ability has really good tracking and range. It can also break hard-to-reach areas on certain enemies’ weak spots.

Overall, you cannot go wrong with a pair of dual weapons if you have some Virtue specced into one of their stronger stats.

A-Tier

Bows, Crossbows, Curved Sabers, Glaives, Halberds, Repeating Crossbows, Slashing Spears, Spears, Straight Sabers, Swords

A majority of the weapons in Wo Long are quite solid in their own right. If you want to use polearms, they excel greatly at having range. With good ranged attacks, you have a bit more leeway when it comes to dodging enemy attacks because of the spacing. Further, the polearms like glaives and spears have good single-target damage.

As for the normal swords and saber equivalents, they are all pretty standard. They have good damage, good mobbing potential, and good speed. They’re all weapon types that can easily complement any sort of build you go for.

The bow weapons are also very good in their own right. You can make some very niche builds around them, but they’re almost necessary when dealing with archers and warlocks. The only thing you have to look out for when using these is that your movement speed is decreased while aiming.

B-Tier

Hammers, Poleaxes, Staffs

The weapons listed here aren’t necessarily bad per se. They just require a bit more timing and patience when engaging tougher foes. 

For example— hammers and poleaxes deal significantly higher spirit damage. Their downfalls are that they are slow to wield and leave you open to taking damage. There’s a significant tradeoff for having a big strength. Also, with slower attacks, you’re more likely to be locked in an animation.

As for staff weapons, they’re serviceable and provide a unique style of gameplay. On one hand, they deal good spirit damage with all the multi-strikes. However, they have low-range and long attack animations. This is another case of having a huge trade-off.

All in all, despite what weapon you use, you can still get yourself through the whole main story of Wo Long Fallen Dynasty. You just have to know what type of Virtue your weapons scale with.

How to Sign Up For The Finals Beta

Currently, The Finals is in its closed beta phase. The only way you can get in is by signing up via Steam or through the SteelSeries GG app giveaway (while supplies last!). If you try to get a key via Steam, there is a chance that you may not get a key for the game.

Your best bet is to use the SteelSeries app before codes run out. With how popular the game is on Twitch, you should jump on that quickly. This beta runs until March 21, so you have just about two weeks to see what the game is all about.

What is the Release Date For The Finals?

There isn’t a set release date for the game yet, but it’s expected to come out sometime this year, 2023. Since the game is in closed beta right now, we can also expect there to be an open beta period where it’ll be more available to people at least on PC.

What Platforms Will The Finals Be On?

This game is currently only going through a beta test on PC. Eventually, as we get closer to the game’s full launch, people on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles will be able to play. It’s not coming to previous generation systems. People on PS4 and Xbox One will have to either upgrade to current-gen or play the game on PC.

When Does Overwatch 2 Season 3 End?

Season 3 of Overwatch 2 ends on Monday, April 10, 2023. From now until the date the season ends, players have just over a month to earn all the necessary levels to at least earn the Mythic Kiriko Amaterasu skin.

Of course, a good way to complete the Battle Pass faster is by completing the daily, weekly, and seasonal challenges. With the massive boosts to XP per challenge completed, you can earn several tiers within a day’s worth of playing.

Note that a good way to also rank up your pass faster is by playing with a pre-made group consisting of friends or from an LFG. You’ll earn additional XP that way. The bonus is also applied on top of the 20% boost you get from the premium BP boost.

Finally, if you want to be the hero of your team, you can play support or a flex role to earn that 500 extra Battle Pass XP. Since those roles are picked less in matchmaking, you’re going to be compensated accordingly, which should be seen as a win-win here.

With only a month left before this current season ends, there’s also the One-Punch Man collaboration event to look forward to. Since there are going to be challenges to unlock some cosmetics, there is no doubt that there will be some that grant XP. On top of those already in the Pass, this will act as a good boost for last-chance players.

The season hasn’t lost steam yet, so there’s still plenty of time to at least finish the base part of the Battle Pass. As for prestige levels, you’ll definitely have to grind more for those if they matter to you.

When Does the Overwatch 2 One Punch Man Event Start?

The collab event is set to start on March 7, 2023, on all platforms. It’s also going to run from that day all the way until April 6, 2023. There should be plenty of time to determine whether or not you’re going to buy a skin or take part in the month-long event.

Expect this to launch alongside the midseason patch that many have been looking forward to. This might also contain some balance changes to the roster along with a new rotation of Overwatch League skins.

All Overwatch 2 x One Punch Man Crossover Skins

As we have already seen in the past, Doomfist is going to get a Saitama costume. This is one of the few skins that we’ll see during the event. It’s unclear how we’ll obtain him at this time, though his costume is likely to be earned by spending Overwatch coins.

Additionally, we’ll also be seeing the Terrible Tornado Kiriko Legendary skin. It’s going to cost 2,100 Overwatch coins in the shop as part of a bundle. The contents of the bundle include a name card, a victory pose, and the skin of course.

What we should also be expecting is the Mumen Rider Soldier: 76 skin. This is the only skin that is guaranteed to be obtained by completing challenges during the event. We do not know what the challenges are just yet. Whether they are earned from playing a specific new game mode or just by completing challenges similar to those on this season’s Battle Pass is to be determined.

Finally, we’re also getting a Genos crossover skin for Genji. The look and physique of the character translate very well for the OG ninja of Overwatch. It’s also unclear if this will be obtainable via challenges or by spending Overwatch coins in the shop. The latter is more likely the outcome.

Remember, you will have about a month’s worth of playing if you want to get a certain skin or at least take the free route and snag the Soldier skin.

Each Divine Beast will be obtained typically at the end of a Main Battlefield mission. In our guide that lays out all the missions in the game, it’s best to also take on side missions as they can help bring you up to the proper recommended level.

Also, it helps to use a Divine Beast that matches your primary Virtue Level in the game. That way, the stats will be more in line with what you’re putting your levels into. Whether you want to use the Resonation or summon your Beast, damage output will be increased even further.

For example, we said Wood is the best element to spec into, with Water and Metal as secondaries. Using Bixie or Qinglong to further enhance the Virtue’s capabilities. However, with Bixie being a late-game Divine Beast, your best bet is to hold onto Qinglong. Plus, it’s a very good source of healing in a pinch.

Is Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Hard?

This is a very subjective answer. The short response to this is yes, this game is hard. To put the difficulty level into perspective, Wo Long probably gets about a 7/10 in terms of difficulty (with 1 being easy and 10 being excruciatingly hard). 

Wo Long Fallen Dynasty does not have a difficulty slider, so you’re going to be playing the same way as everyone else. However, if you think a 7 out of 10 is still high for a difficult game, here are some ways that you can ease down the legendary difficulty.

Summon NPCs

You’ll be given an NPC or two by default in some missions throughout Wo Long. They might ease up the difficulty as they can draw enemy aggro away from you. However, some missions don’t have them.

If you have the Tiger Seal item, you can spend one at a Battle Flag. You can summon up to two NPCs unless you have some present. Just know that if the NPC with you wasn’t originally with you in a mission and you die, you’ll have to summon them again.

Play Cooperative With Other People

Similar to the NPC option, if you play cooperatively with another player, you can essentially get carried. Enemy counts are the same with some rescaling of enemy health values. Still, if you have a skilled partner as you take down the small fries, you can trivialize some bosses or tough areas in the game.

Farm Levels

Every mission in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty has a Recommended Level. If you truly are struggling with the game’s difficulty or are off put by the heavy damage every enemy does, just do a bit of level grinding. It might take a bit of defeating enemies over and over until you can level up, but the stat gains can help.

As you’re farming enemies in your levels, you’re also increasing your Morale Rank. Most missions cap out at 20, but you can exceed that and gain an additional stat bonus over enemies. Anything to give you an edge in combat will significantly make tough fights and bosses easier.

Get Good (Seriously)

Finally, let’s get into ripping the band-aid here. Yes, Wo Long Fallen Dynasty has stats like attack and defense. What separates those who succeed in this game from those who quit are the ones who take the time to nail down the mechanics, specifically things like deflects/counters and managing the Spirit gauge.

If you learn how to properly use the counter mechanic in this game and know how to follow up attacks, you can breeze through the content. Hacking and slashing will only get you so far in terms of mobbing, but when it comes to larger foes and bosses, they won’t stagger or have as much downtime.

The first boss is looking to be a make-or-break for a lot of players already. This is the perfect time to master those mechanics as they’ll be basically necessary as the game gets progressively harder. Without proper fundamentals, you’re going to lose a lot of Qi and your patience from constant deaths.

What Do the Arrows Mean in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty?

There are two types of arrows on the map, so here’s what they are. The first arrow you’ll see is a red arrow. This is an indicator of where you need to go. It’s like a mission marker. Whether it’s a boss room or a group of enemies needed to be defeated, this is where the red arrow leads you.

If you see an orange arrow on your map, this means that you have died. Following it will lead you to the enemy who killed you. Here’s where it can get tricky. You ideally want to exact revenge on the enemy who killed you. In doing so, you’ll earn back the Genuine Qi they took.

If you die to a different enemy before retrieving your previous spoils, the orange arrow will then guide you to that enemy. If you died in a boss room, the orange arrow will be directly aligned with the red arrow.

Since your map acts more like a compass, it’s a good way to indicate how close you are to where these arrows point you. If you notice a giant door that gives you a prompt to open it and there’s a red arrow right there, that means you’re about to fight a boss. 

Make all necessary preparations before tackling things like this as you’re basically locked in. If that boss beat you, there are things to retrieve. If not, you lose what the boss took from you. Sadly, the map/compass doesn’t take different points of elevation into consideration, so you may oftentimes find yourself lost if you don’t properly retrace your steps.

How to Perform a Parry in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty

The game tells you what button to press, but there is more to just pressing the button. If you’re here, you might be struggling for two reasons: your timing might be off or your equipment load might be too heavy. 

Timing Parries Correctly

You can perform a deflect on any enemy if you properly coordinate the timing of their attacks. It might take some time to get used to as there are multiple enemy types with weapons, along with different variants and bosses. 

If you feel like your parry isn’t working, I’d highly suggest trying to fight normal enemies near a resting point. Getting the timing down as a new player will be difficult, especially if your internal timer is off or if you crack under pressure.

Next, you should hold the block button while trying to perform a parry. That way, if your timing was like this, you’ll most likely block the attack and lose Spirit over HP. 

Reduce Equipment Weight

What players have been reporting is that you lose the ability to deflect if your equipment weight exceeds 100%. Typically in games like these, if your equipment totals above that, you are then in an “over-encumbered” state. This means that your character will be even slower than if you were wearing a heavy set.

This means that your mobility is slower, your dodges have fewer invincibility frames, and your stance is more likely to break. You use more spirit for doing anything as a result of carrying armor too heavy for you.

If you do want to run heavy armor because of large defense numbers, try staying below the 100% threshold. To equip heavy armor and stay below a heavy weight, you should ideally spec into the Earth Virtue. 

However, if a heavy attacking playstyle doesn’t suit you, go for what we think is the good starter way to level your character. You can still rock some decent armor sets so as long as they’re within a certain weight range of your choice.

So there are quite a lot of missions to partake in. As you may notice, it does seem like there’s a huge difference between main missions and side missions.

What is the Best Order of Missions?

Depending on your skill, it’s best to take on every mission you can, from ascending order. You’ll see that Main Battlefield missions make a huge leap from recommended levels. It’s best to take on the Sub Battlefields so that you can gain a few levels along the way before heading on to the next.

That way, while it may derail you from the story for a bit, you will be able to hone your skills, level up more into your desired Virtues, and even obtain new gear and weapons along the way. If you are confident enough to only tackle story missions, the game won’t stop you from playing them.

How to Respec in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty

This feature won’t be unlocked until you complete the main story mission, In Search of the Immortal Wizard. It’s a mission with a recommended level of 25 and isn’t accessible until you reach Part 3 in your travel menu.

Upon completing the aforementioned level, you will then notice that the big hut next to your Battle Flag at the Hidden Village will be open. Zuo Ci, the Immortal Wizard, will be sitting inside. Talk to him and you should have the “Reset Parameters” option unlocked. 

When you select this option, you can reallocate Virtue levels into other categories. Say you put all your points into Wood. You can remove as many points from that and put them into other categories you want to level into. You don’t need a special item or anything.

What Happens to Undistributed Virtue?

Nothing will happen if you take away Virtue points and don’t allocate them to one of the five stats. It’ll stay with your permanently as that was already banked Genuine Qi (or experience points). This would only be useful if you wanted to give yourself a challenge and use less. Otherwise, you’re only at a disadvantage for not spending them.

With the Virtue points you’re allocating in your build, you always want to make sure that your weapons of choice scale with what you’re leveling into. For example, if you’re using a sword that has letters on Earth, Fire, and Metal, it wouldn’t do much if you started leveling into Water or Metal. 

The respec system in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty can help you refine builds as you get into the late or endgame. Stats will help you in the long run.

Is There a New Game Plus in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty?

There actually is a New Game Plus in the game. It’s just labeled differently. This mode is called Rising Dragon. The original difficulty, as in your first playthrough, is called Crouching Dragon. 

In this NG+ mode, Rising Dragon, the first mission will start at level 100. You’ll start back in the Village of Calamity, but will also have Parts 2 and 3 unlocked too. Of course, missions in the later Parts will have higher levels.

What’s the Point of New Game Plus?

The next playthrough of Wo Long will have its reasons for you to come back. You may have noticed that your gear caps out at 4-star rarity. In the Rising Dragon mode, you can now earn 5-star gear which contains additional stats and set bonuses compared to the normal mode.

This is where you can start farming for builds and maximizing the stats for a weapon class you like. At this point in the game, it would also be wise to upgrade the gear you want to invest in as enemies will be even tougher. 

Enemy levels will also be increased. They’ll hit harder and will have higher Morale levels than they did in your previous playthrough. The maximum Fortitude level cap for a mission is 20, but enemies can now surpass that here.

To succeed in this mode, you will now have to pay closer attention to how your build works alongside your general knowledge of Wo Long. You have to be really good at parrying, know when to engage an enemy, and don’t lose precious Qi.

Which Virtue Should You Level Up in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty?

This will be very dependent on what kind of playstyle you want to have. First, we have to break down what each Virtue does to get a better understanding of what each one does to see what weapon class you’d like to play with. Here they are:

Wood Virtue – Shock damage

This virtue increases your base HP significantly more than the other virtues. It will also affect how much Spirit you lose upon being attacked. Wood is perhaps the better class for beginners as it provides a lot of survivability and self-sustenance.

The Wood Virtue upgrade path also contains the Absorb Vitality Wizardry Spell. This spell gives you a temporary life-steal ability, making you harder to kill. 

Recommended weapon types: Swords, straight sabers, staffs, spears, dual swords, dual halberds

Fire Virtue – Burn damage

The Fire Virtue leveling path is good if you want a standard damaging class. It affects how much Spirit you gain as you land successful hits on enemies. This Virtue will also decrease the amount of Spirit you use when performing Martial Arts.

Earth Virtue – Heaviness accumulation

This leveling path is good for people who want to use the heavier gear. There’s a weight rating for each piece of gear you equip from 1 to 3 bars. 3 is the heaviest, allowing you to wear that without being above the weight limit and having huge penalties for your mobility.

Earth is also good to play a tank role. You can gain significantly more Spirit when you properly deflect an enemy’s attack.

Metal Virtue – Poison damage

This Virtue is for players who want to maintain high Spirit levels without them deteriorating quickly. Because of this benefit, it works extremely well with spell builds, allowing you to cast spells more often without reaching negative Spirit.

Recommended weapon types: Straight swords, curved sabers, glaives, staffs, hammers, poleaxes, 

Water Virtue – Chill damage

If you want to have a more stealthy approach in combat, the Water Virtue might be for you. This specializes in ranged weapon bonuses and reduces how much Spirit you use when performing a parry or deflect. 

Recommended weapon types: Swords, curved sabers, glaives, halberds, staffs, spears, dual swords

Best Virtue to Level in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty

Out of all these types, the best early-game combination to use is Wood with Water and Metal as secondaries. For every 3 levels you put into Wood, put one into Water and Metal. It’ll make you very tanky, allowing you to cast spells like Absorb Vitality more often.

You’ll mostly want to use light or medium gear while rocking a majority of weapons that scale off of these three stats. Of course, the higher the grade for wood, the more you should prioritize those in your builds. 

Your HP bar will be quite sizable too. This means that you can survive a lot of lethal attacks from enemies if they hit you with their unblockable moves. You may not have the tankiness from something like Earth, but a large health pool, high mobility, and being a spellcaster will help you significantly more. 

How to Upgrade Weapons in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty

This is a feature that won’t be unlocked until you get to the second mission, Two Chivalrous Heroes. Upon reaching one of the main Battle Flags, you’ll see a woman with a giant hammer. Talk to her twice! 

By interacting with her a second time, she’ll make a remark that she forgot her manners and will properly introduce herself to you as the blacksmith. She wants to hone her craft and will travel with you in the meantime per level. After the intros are out of the way, she then gives you the option to upgrade weapons and other gear.

To upgrade weapons, you will need copper and different types of Ranked Steel. For example, if you want to upgrade a +1 sword into a +2, you will need 3 units of Rank 3 Steel and 10,000 copper. Each tier of an upgrade will cost 5,000 more, so it will get pricey in the later stages.

Can You Upgrade Armor in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty?

To upgrade your armor, you will need Ranked Leather instead. Like weapons, you will also need 3 units of the leather you want to upgrade your armor into and a steep amount of Copper. 

It’s best to hold off on upgrading your gear until you finish your first run of the game. As you progress through new regions in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, you’ll naturally pick up new weapons and gear with these upgraded values and higher rarities. 

How to Increase Dragon Cure Pot Capacity in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty

To obtain more, you’ll have to find an item called a Dragon Vein Crystal. Upon using it, they will permanently increase the number of uses you have for them by 1. It’ll become more useful especially as levels become longer, get more complex, and throw tougher enemies at you.

It’s highly encouraged to thoroughly go through each level so you can find these items. Don’t worry about missing them as you can revisit levels upon completion. Items will spawn in the same locations, but with important ones like these, they’ll be replaced with something else.

Can You Increase the Amount Healed Per Dragon Cure Pot?

You can increase the potency of your heals too. Similar to the Crystals, you have to find an item called Dragon Vein Essence. These are one-time-use items that upon using them, will increase the amount at which your Dragon Pots heal you. 

You’ll notice that your Dragon’s Cure Pot will now have a plus (+) value below the name. The higher the plus value, the more you will be healed per item consumed. Enemies will do more damage as the levels go higher, so it’s important that you can heal more than what an unupgraded pot can do.

What is the Max Amount of Heals?

If you collected every single Crystal and Essence item, you should have a Dragon’s Cure Pot +15 with 10 in reserve. This should be more than enough to take on even the toughest of foes that Wo Long has to offer, that is until you get to the endgame.

How to Get More Divine Beasts in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty

To get more of them, you have to progress through the main story of the game. After defeating a major boss, there will be a cutscene where a character’s Jade will start to glow. When that happens, their Divine Beast will resonate with you, granting you access to use them in any missions moving forward.

How to Use Divine Beasts

You can start using Divine Beasts once you unlock your first one, Qilin. To equip one, go to a Battle Flag and Rest. Head over to the Battle Preparation option and hit “Set Divine Beast”. Here, you can see all those you have collected. Pick one and you’re good to go.

To activate one, you have to kill enemies, deal damage, or take damage. That will all contribute to a meter that determines when it’s ready to use. Once that meter is full, you should see the icon on the bottom right of the Beast’s symbol now glowing. 

Once it’s glowing, press triangle and circle (or B and Y on Xbox) to summon your Divine Beast. Each one has its own specific stats and abilities. Also, the higher your Morale Rank, the stronger and more effective they are in combat.

There is also another way to summon them by using Divine Beast Resonation. Press square and X (or A and X on Xbox) to give yourself and your allies a buff for a set duration. These also vary depending on which one you choose.

How to Switch Divine Beasts

If you want to swap between different Divine Beasts, you can only do so when you are at a Battle Flag, just as where you’d also level up your Virtue Levels. You can’t swap mid-battle nor can you do it in your equipment menus. Also, as you switch different animals, your meter will reset. You have to build it up to use them again. 

These will be more important for builds as you get to the later and more difficult stages of Wo Long Fallen Dynasty. Make sure you like the stats they give to enhance your play style!
