The main method to attempt and acquire a key is to request one via the game’s official Steam page which can be found through this link: log into Steam once you have clicked on the link. It should be noted that The Finals will appear as a free game since it is actually a free-to-play title.

Scroll down until you see the box that reads “Join The Finals Playtest”. Click on the “Request Access” button and you will then be told that your interest was registered. You may not get anything right away, but you did put yourself on a list for consideration. We recommend keeping a close eye on your emails for any beta codes sent your way.

The second closed beta will run from June 14 until June 21 so that is plenty of time to jump into the action throughout a full week.

When Does The Finals Release?

The Finals release date is still to be officially revealed but it is expected to launch later in 2023 by many. However, there is no absolute concrete release date so for the time being people will have to keep a close eye out for general notices getting sent out from the developers along with any new trailers. Other games such as XDefiant will also likely prove to be heavy competition for The Finals.
